These are absolutely, hands down, the most comfortable earbuds I’ve found for side sleeping. I did a ton of research and kept going back and forth before buying, but these really are in a league of their own for comfort. If you’re a side sleeper who’s struggled with earbuds digging into your ears, these are worth it.

That said, they’re not flawless. The battery life isn’t fantastic, and the Bluetooth connection can be a bit clunky. They don’t automatically disconnect when you take them out or put them back in the case, you have to manually disconnect them, which feels dated compared to AirPods or most other wireless earbuds.

Still, for me, comfort wins. They’re pricey, but if your main priority is actually being able to sleep with earbuds in, I’d highly recommend them — just know the tech side of things isn’t as smooth as it could be.

When the Ozlo Sleepbuds work properly and last through the night, they’re genuinely life-changing. I sleep deeply—often a full eight hours—and wake up noticeably more rested after using them. Paired with a blackout eye mask, the experience is far better than using ambient noise from a TV. They also block out small disturbances, like blanket movement or my cat in the morning, which helps ease my sleep time anxiety. However, the charging case design is frustrating—the magnets don’t guide the buds into place as naturally as the Bose open-ear headphone case. More importantly, if the case isn’t kept plugged in, the buds often die after 5–6 hours. For the price, I expected more reliable charging and battery life. That said, these fill a unique need, and I highly recommend them. I was skeptical at first—especially since I already own AirPods Pro, Bose open-ears, and others—but I still reach for the Ozlos at least every other night. If the case and battery were improved, I’d easily give them five stars.

I bought the BOSE version of these earphones maybe ~3-4 years ago and it was one of the best purchases I've made. After BOSE discontinued them I purchased the new Ozlos, they are still a great product and I use them daily. I see where the team is trying to improve them and add capability beyond what BOSE had however I have encountered many more connectivity issues with the Ozlos. Some minors changed like needing to leave them in the charging case to connect is a bit annoying and most of the new features I don't use. Personally, I have a smart watch for sleep tracking and don't need that from the Ozlos. All I need from them is white noise, good sound cancellation and reliability. I really hope that the team stays focused on the core problem the product is designed to solve (improving sleep quality, sound blocking) and doesn't keep adding extra features that interfere with the products reliability.
