Do they have noise cancelling?

Our Sleepbuds® feature passive noise cancellation to block out snoring and other disruptions. In addition, we offer “noise masking” audio content (think, white noise, ocean waves, babbling brook, etc) to cover up and replace any sounds that bleed through the passive seal of the comfortable silicone tips. This “block and replace” noise-masking technology is different from active noise cancellation, and our testing indicates that it’s more effective for the sleep use case in a bedroom environment.

Can I stream anything?

Yes. Ozlo Sleepbuds® can stream anything (Netflix, Spotify, Audible, Youtube, etc) that a normal bluetooth headphone can.

Do they have an alarm?

Yes, Sleepbuds® have a built-in private alarm which can be set up through the Ozlo app. The alarm doesn’t require the phone to be connected, and still works even in bluetooth disabled mode.

Is there a phone-free mode?

While a phone and an active bluetooth connection are necessary to initially set up and to stream audio, your Sleepbuds® can be configured to automatically play your built-in Sleep Sound as soon as you take them out of the case. No phone or bluetooth connection required.

What is the wireless range?

Ozlo Sleepbuds® have a range of up to 10ft (3 meters) from the Smart Case. The Smart Case has a range of up to 10ft (3 meters) from the source device (like a phone). This range may be reduced by physical obstructions, such as walls and doors, or by interference from other electronic devices. 

Does the Ozlo app work on Android and Apple Devices?

Yes, the app will be available for Android phones running Android 12 or later and Apple iPhones & iPads running iOS 17 or later.

While there is a microphone in the charging case (to assess the noise level in your sleeping environment), there is no microphone in Sleepbuds® to support phone calls.

    Originally had the Bose, these are an improvement so hopefully they have fixed the longevity issues and these will be my perfect sleep companion

    Okay I dont normally review alot of products but I feel compelled to with these because I was on the fence for so long and they’ve been SUCH a huge game changer.

    For context: I live on a very busy main street of a huge city on the second floor. Needless to say, traffic, the bars, screaming, you name it- its right outside my window. Plus I travel alot for work and sleep in many many different places a year.

    The ozlo buds have been the only product that has consistently gotten me eight uninterrupted hours of sleep in years, but they do take some getting used to and can be a little finicky at first.

    For the features to all work really well you have to do things in the correct order and that messed me up a few times getting started. They also (no matter how many sizes I’ve tried) can every so often fall out, so I still set my regular iphone alarm just incase they’ve fallen out and I wont hear the alarm. But all in all these things have changed my sleep and if you’re on the fence- DO IT!

    Sleeping with a snoring partner and dogs barking on a nearby beach.

    We live near the beach and often there a barking dogs first thing on a morning that wake you up. That’s if you are not already awake from a snoring partner. The sleepbuds sounds drowns out the problem and I get a good sleep. One other advantage is getting off to sleep, or back to sleep if you wake up, is the streaming ability, which allows you to listen to a book or podcast for a set time (15mins) for me and then the bud sound reverts automatically to your chosen bud sound to keep you asleep. Through getting a better nights sleep and not being anxious about noises waking me up, for me they are a massive benefit and quality of life enhancer.
